HOLLOW COVES BRING DEBUT ALBUM “MOMENTS” TO THE SEWING ROOM IN JANUARY 2020
The first full-length recording from Australia’s indie folk heroes Hollow Coves will see them tour nationally in January with a show at Perth’s The Sewing Room on Thursday, January 16.
The Brisbane duo of Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins caught the world’s attention in 2017 with their debut EP Wanderlust, which was streamed over 200 million times and attracted strong praise from critics and the music press, including Billboard.
Hollow Coves’ debut album, Moments, was released last month to similar acclaim, continuing their eloquent, engaging, and entrancing take on indie folk.
The band has been compared to everyone from Simon & Garfunkel to Angus and Julia Stone, and even Coldplay, with their earthy folk sound, the meshing simple acoustic melodies, vocal harmonies and impactful themes.
