Fans of Queen and Elton John should not miss an exciting double-header Queen & Elton John tribute taking place at North Perth’s Charles Hotel on Saturday, 14 September.
Following recent sold out shows at The Breakwater, Perth’s premier Queen tribute band, Innuendo, will bring their boundless energy and swagger to deliver Queen’s signature brand of theatrical rock.
Fronted by Daniel Macintyre, Innuendo will transport you back in time so that you can experience what it would have been like to be in front of the great Freddie Mercury himself. At Macintyre’s side, Adam Mettner will deliver a set full of exquisite Brian May lead breaks from the band’s vast catalogue of hits.
Performing the works of outlandish pop icon, Elton John, is Perth pianist Noah Shilkin joined by the Not Quite Dwight Band (a subtle tip of the hat to John’s birth name, Reginald Kenneth Dwight). Together, Shilkin and band will perform classics like Your Song, Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Tiny Dancer and more.
A veteran of performance from the piano bar to the arena, Shilkin has clocked over 3 million kilometres on the road, playing over 3,000 shows and penning over 300 songs. He has worked with artists as diverse as Alanis Morrisette, Bryan Adams, Loverboy, Lior, boy+chik and AC/DC.
