Music industry charity, Support Act, is thrilled with the response to this week’s Ausmusic T-Shirt Day with over 170 promoters, record companies, venues, fan clubs, corporations and artists pledging support to raise funds for music workers who are doing it tough.

Last year’s event smashed its original target raising $110,000 and Support Act is hoping that the same will happen again this year.

They are thrilled to have Facebook, Spotify, MTV, JB HiFi, Mitsubishi, American Express Music Backers program, Gildan Brands, Nando’s, Big Red Group, Access EAP, City of Sydney, City of Melbourne, Australia Council for the Arts, Musicians Australia, Creative Victoria, the National Film and Sound Archive, Australian Labor Party, NSW cross party group, Parliamentary Friends of Australian Music, the Australian Music Vault, National Museum of Australia, Museum of Brisbane and Community Broadcasting Federation all on board to sport their favourite Ausmusic T-Shirts on this Friday, 15 November 2019.

The support that we receive not only allows us to continue to provide urgently needs crisis relief and mental health services, but will help us to develop and implement other prevention programs to benefit music workers in our industry.”
Anyone who doesn’t already have a band t-shirt is encouraged to jump online and visit the merch section of their favourite artist website or visit a Levi’s® store or levis.com.au. They’ve partnered with Angus & Julia Stone, Ruel, Ocean Alley, Parkway Drive, Tkay Maidza and INXS to create 6 limited tees, where 100% of net proceeds are being donated to Support Act.
General Pants, in association with Bravado, are selling a limited range of exclusive t-shirts prints in-store and online from Midnight Oil, Silverchair, Baker Boy, Meg Mac, Vera Blue and Polish Club. 100% of the nett proceeds from every t-shirt sale goes directly to Support Act.
Sound Merch is offering a 10% discount on all Aussie band tees from their store until the 15th of November. They will also donate $4.00 from each t-shirt sale to Support Act (Use the code AUS10 at the checkout).
Warner Music Australia will be donating $5.00 from every sale of participating Aussie band t-shirts purchased from the Warner Music Australia official store up till 15 December 2019.
Love Police ATM will donate 20% of all sales from BandTshirts between 1 and 15 November (Use the code AUSMUSDAY19 at the checkout).
