Fairbridge Festival Quest
Youth Songwriting Workshops

For the aspiring young songwriter in your life!
The Act-Belong-Commit Fairbridge Festival Quest youth songwriting workshops, across the state from Broome to Albany, are in progress with the first metropolitan workshop this Saturday at Zenith Music in Claremont.

You'll be shown how to get started, some writing methods and techniques used by professional songwriters, what makes a good song, and how to perform it. Designed for 12-18-year-olds, from absolute beginners to emerging artists, we'll provide tips on what audiences and song competition judges look for, and how to present songs to both audiences.

Please note: competition entry is not mandatory for workshop attendees, they're opportunities for all to learn in a safe and welcoming environment. We recommend attendees bring an instrument, if they have one!
