Californian singer-songwriter Meg DeLacy creates music inspired by life’s idiosyncrasies. Following the release of the richly romantic “Implicit” last year, Meg is back with her first cut of 2021 in the form of ‘Body’.

Full of pounding pop rhythms and vibrant synth patterns, ‘Body’ is an irresistible track showcasing Meg’s impressive vocal prowess.
Sensual and smooth, “it’s about the simplicity of our skin creating warmth and longing for that person who gives you lust”, Meg explains.
“This song plays with that sexual desire we all have, whether that be receiving love, making love or seeking love. Personally, this song reminds me of the shame that also comes with fantasizing about unrequited love.”
Incorporating glossy pop beats into her R&B melodies, the Los Angeles native draws inspiration from the likes of Jhene Aiko, Amy Winehouse and Corinne Bailey Rae to create her rich soundscape.
Having gained notoriety as an actress, she made her musical debut back in 2018 with her first single “Bruises” – an intoxicating electro-pop song highlighting Meg’s vocal prowess.
‘Body’ is set for release January 22nd, with the video to follow on 29th January.
