Peking Duk team up with The Wombats to drop dancefloor heartbreak anthem ‘Nothing to Love About Love’.
The second official drop from Peking Duk this year, following them kicking off 2020 with their single ‘Move’ featuring Alisa Xalayith of the Naked and Famous. 2020 has been a year with its challenges but Peking Duk have still played to over 80,000 people at Fire Fight Australia and they’ve taken on Triple J’s Quarantune Challenge where they delivered a belting quarantune titled ‘Isolation’ alongside close friend Benson.
ARIA Award winning Peking Duk have amassed over 422 million streams globally and accredited over 1.5million ARIA units. They have taken their live show far beyond Australian borders, performing to sold-out crowds in venues and festivals across the US, UK, Asia and Europe. The legendary Aussie duo are showing no signs of slowing down with ‘Nothing To Love About Love’ .
The Wombats, comprised of vocalist Matthew ‘Murph’ Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis, met and formed at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts in 2003. The band then emerged in 2006 swiftly becoming chart-quashing champions of the noughties guitar pop explosion with hits including ‘Moving To New York’, ‘Kill The Director’and ‘Let’s Dance To Joy Division’. Their latest album ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’ was released in 2018.
