Annual fundraiser event Punks Against Poverty goes bigger with Minifest this November!

Punks Against Poverty is the brainchild of local photographer Kim Anderson (aka Shoot the Wicked Witch) that started as a biannual event in 2016 raising money for local charities. This year she has taken the plunge turning it into a mini-fest featuring nine bands at The Boston this November.

Punks Against Poverty is a regular event raising money for local charities helping Perth’s homeless population so they can continue their amazing work providing the homeless with clothes, food, toiletries, blankets and other much-needed necessities. Over 2016-2017 Punks Against Poverty raised money for charity Street Smugglers and the mini-fest will raise money for the Perth Homeless Support Group.
