Sydney punk rock five-piece Endless Heights are back, armed with new single Cold Hard Kiss and a freshly announced show at Perth’s Amplifier Capitol on Saturday, 12 October, as part of their national Cold Hard Kiss tour.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Elliott Gallart and recorded at The Chameleon Sound Studio, Cold Hard Kiss marks a bold new direction for Endless Heights. The single follows the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, Vicious Pleasure (2018), produced by Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels, The Vines).
Vicious Pleasure’s singles Drain and Come A Little Closer received triple j rotation, while the video for the Paralyse made the Clipped Music Video Awards Top 50 and received glowing reviews from international music media, including Kerrang.
Vocalist Joel Martorana says, “Cold Hard Kiss is about allowing your thoughts and feelings to come to the surface, even when they stand at odds with each other. The song came from a season in my life where I was crazy in love, yet completely lost and emotionally numb. It’s about confronting the guilt of failing those you love most in the pursuit of finding what you truly want in life.”
For the past 10 years, the five friends behind Endless Heights have fuelled their passion through a DIY mindset and an ever-evolving creative approach. The band have undertaken countless national tours supporting Taking Back Sunday, Luca Brasi, The Story So Far, Basement, Turnover, Northlane and more, as well as a sold out Australian headline tour of their own in 2018, and international tours through South East Asia, Japan and Europe.
Endless Heights will also support Iron Mind in Melbourne later this month and The Amity Affliction at Brisbane Festival in September, alongside Underoath, Crossfaith, Pagan, Make Them Suffer, Trophy Eyes and more. Tickets to Endless Heights’ Perth show are on sale now via Oztix.
